Royce had been warning her that spending all this time in her wolf form was going to make her forget how to be normal in her human form. Of course, she argued back that in order for her to be normal now, she would have to start being normal at some previous point. There was no 'normal' for her. But she did have to agree that being a wolf didn't help her social skills any. When Charlie opened the door, the first thing Rosemary wanted to do was smell her. Get caught up on everything she had been doing, everywhere she had been, but gratefully, a thought occurred to her before she leaned in.
That would be weird if I did that as a human.
So she kept still, put her hands casually behind her back and grinned at the red-headed human. "Royce is busy so he sent me to watch you." Wouldn't it have been funny if she had said 'eat' instead of 'watch'? The look on Charlie's face would have been priceless. She would never really eat the girl. Ew. Cows were more her taste. But she was a wolf and hello, Little Red Riding Hood anyone? But Charlie didn't know anything about that so the joke would have been lost on her.
"I smell something good. Is that dinner?" Her nose went to the air and took in a couple of curious sniffs. Yeah, that was dinner and it sure did smell yummy. Oh, but wasn't she supposed to bring something? That was customary, wasn't it? Ah, well. Royce would remember. If he didn't, oh well. Rosemary was sure that Charlie had enough food around.
She wanted to come in but Charlie was in the door way, still looking perplexed about her being there. Why? "Aren't you going to invite me in? Or are we having a staring contest? Because if we are, you have to warn me first."
