"A commune?" Charlotte's eyes widened in surprise, and she laughed. "Well. I can't say that's much of a shock. It does sound very Rose-like, you have to admit..." She laughed again and finally uncurled herself, turning on the sofa to face Briar. She felt much more at ease now that they'd stopped talking about her, and she really was genuinely interested in Briar's life. She'd lived twice as long as the average human being; no doubt she had some stories to tell.
"And, ah... what exactly happened at this commune? Or do I even want to know?" She raised an eyebrow suspiciously, but with interest. She'd heard about communes, but never first hand. This could be very intriguing. Very intriguing indeed...
