"Oh yes, we wholeheartedly agree with you there," Briar smiled ruefully, brushing a lock of hair behind her ears and pursing her lips in thought. She barely knew Charlotte so it was a little confusing, Rose was pushing her to push but that was because she was used to Snow. Briar and Charlotte hardly knew each other at all, so she was hesitant to overstep her bounds too far. A little far though? Might be okay. Charlotte seemed okay so far, at any rate, and Briar felt like pushing a little bit more. Sisterly right? Or something, god this was weird.
"You're not alone, Charlotte. We've all gone through it, both in and outside of a situation like yours. It's understandable, and if he's all that you say, I'm sure he understands too. You shouldn't rush yourself, but knowing Bigby at least, he'll still be here when you've come around. And I know you will, it's only natural. But that shouldn't scare you either."
She paused, cocking her head to the side and smoothing down a section of her hair, leaning her elbow against the back of the couch to prop her head up. Briar's gaze on Charlotte wasn't anything scrutinizing, just thoughtful. She couldn't help wanting to know more. "So. Prince Charming? Care to elaborate? Rose wants to know if she needs to be cutting off a certain body part in your name. I'm inclined to allow it, should that be the case."
