... Well, if there was one thing she could say, it was that Briar really hadn't expected all of that to come out in such a rapid, overwhelming fashion. Part of her regretted asking, and part of her was wishing she'd given the woman something a little stronger then tea. Blinking a few times, she cleared her throat and took another sip before trying to verbally wrap her brain around any of this.
"Please don't apologize, it's perfectly alright. And especially if you haven't had anyone to talk to about it, it's more than understandable that you'd need to unload like that. Not pathetic at all. Or if it is, at the very least take comfort in the fact that I don't really have anyone to talk with either. About the real stuff, I mean."
Pausing for a moment, Briar took another sip and exhaled slowly, attempting to keep all of the feelings about this day from completely overwhelming her. Charlotte was visibly in some sort of turmoil, and Rose was still experiencing the after glow of finally finding her sister. "So." Briar finally spoke again, biting on her bottom lip in thought. "Your... half brother, was the leader of Camelot, and he was killed. Bigby's here? And... Prince Charming is up to his old tricks."
