Briar soon appeared by her side and offered her a mug of black tea and took hers with her to sit on the opposite side of the sofa, taking care to not spill on the way down. There was definitely a certain charm to her somewhat lack of existence, might not have been everyone's style but it was certainly Briar's. She liked it, all she really needed were the essentials. Blowing on the rim of the mug softly, she glanced over at Charlotte. "I hope you take yours with milk and sugar, I sort of took some liberties."
She took the time to take a sip and wince a bit, she did that every time, even though she always knew it'd still be scalding hot. She knew Charlotte was somewhat struggling with the small talk but since Briar was in many ways slightly evil, she let it sit for a moment before answering. "Me? I've been in Paris for a few years now. This isn't the first time I've lived here, but it's been awhile."
Taking another sip and then shifting her knees to the side in order to face Charlotte, she placed the mug in her lap and smiled knowingly. "So what's going on with you and Snow?"
