"No, no, of course not," Briar waved off her hesitation and stepped to the side to let her pass before shutting the door behind them. Briar was so used to chance meetings among reincarnates that she forgot how odd it could be for someone else, Charlotte was visibly nervous and Briar made a mental note not to overwhelm her more than she probably already had. It was a miracle Charlotte was actually here after all of Briar's babbling about getting used to living forever, sometimes she forgot that little thing called tact.
"Make yourself comfortable - Do you want some tea?" Briar called behind her as she made her way back into the kitchen, checking her reflection in the door of the microwave as she passed. She and Rose were pretty nervous themselves, Briar just hid it better. Years and years of practice, though she had a thought that of all people they shouldn't have to hide anything from Snow. Snow. Not that Briar had ever complained about loneliness over the years, but this was definitely a peculiar sort of relief for her.
