"Probably." Rick was mostly oblivious to the hints his mother dropped, having learned to tune such things out many years ago. He hadn't missed the fact that she liked Dallas though, and liked that he was with her. If nothing else, it made life a lot easier, and family functions a lot nicer. And, to be honest, he would have been really disappointed if his family didn't like Dallas, given how much he liked her.
He laughed softly, giving her a little squeeze. "Too late for that," his voice was low, conspiratorial, as if what he was telling her some kind of secret and not something that was completely obvious to anyone looking at them. "I'm already swept."
