Roz shrugged. "No idea. Some woman, said she knew you." She didn't really care who it was, or why they thought it was necessary to inform David's ex-girlfriend that he was hurt. But she was grateful. If she hadn't known, it probably would have been better for her at the moment, but in the long run she would have freaked out even more.
"No, I guess I wasn't." She sighed again, pushing a hand through her hair. Everything they'd said and done seemed kind of ridiculous now. What had the point been, really? On her end, it was just a whole lot of denial. She wasn't sure how he felt, but he didn't care that she was here now, which was a good sign. Right? "You felt like you owed me, or did he...nevermind. I'm not going to pick a fight with you now. It doesn't matter, anyway."
