After a long tour of every different scanner in the hospital, Lilah was back in the same room as the rest of her team, a cast wrapped in dark green (she'd insisted, it matched her uniform) on her arm. She supposed she'd gotten lucky, since the same amount of falling rubble had killed someone else, and all she'd gotten was a broken arm and a mild concussion. If the pressure hadn't knocked her over, she probably wouldn't even have had that. It was nice to know that her telekinesis worked during high stress situations. Which, in retrospect, was probably something she should have figured out before going on a potentially lethal mission.
She was sitting on her bed, seeing if she could keep a tissue box levitating when the announcement that pizza was on it's way came in. Even though she wasn't particularly hungry, it was good to see everyone in such high spirits. They'd won, CORE had fallen, and now they were going to celebrate. In the emergency room, sure, but all of them were going to be able to walk (or at the very least hobble) out of there whenever the staff told them they could leave. If that wasn't an epic victory for their team, she didn't know what was. She grinned over at Ted. "Alive and fed. It doesn't get much better than that, does it?"
When Josh came in, she gave him a wave with her uninjured arm. "I think you're the hero right now." Looking down at her cast, her smile widened. "Oh, and you all should be the first ones to sign this. Just as soon as I can convince a nurse to bring me a pen."
