Who: Colin Ford and Krystelle Deroux
What: Dick and Babs! D'awe.
When: Wednesday, January 13th, 2010 around noon
Where: The Agency in D.C. and then lunch somewhere
Warning: Probably none!
Colin had taken the MTN back to D.C. the night before to get some stuff done in the home office that he'd put on hold to go to London, at the time his affairs there had been more important. Now that there was a brief lull in the madness Colin had begrudgingly returned to the states for the remainder of the week. Sometimes he really thought about just picking up and moving to London, he liked the London HQ so much better than the D.C. Agency. Well, that really had more to do with the people in London HQ more than anything, but still he wasn't quite ready to give up his home in D.C. just yet. He'd spend most of the night before catching up paperwork that had been piling up in his office, mostly just petty complaints and things that never failed to give him a blinding headache.
Wednesday promised to be much better though, as he had plans to meet up with Krystelle for lunch and before he knew it it was already approaching noon. He of course was looking forward to meeting the woman but Dick was definitely a little more excited than Colin, this was Babs after all and the man had always been fond of her despite all of their rocky history. Colin just hoped he and Krystelle could manage to keep things relatively not awkward, though she seemed to be a sweet enough girl so he wasn't too worried about it. He was a little proud of the gift he and Dick had gotten for them, so he was pretty confident that at least would set things off on the right foot.
When it got to be five minutes to noon Colin finally stood up from his desk with a tired sigh, rubbing his eyes with the balls of his fist and attempting to wake himself up for this as he made his way down to the lobby. Wouldn't do to make a lousy first impression after all.
