Natalie smiled as she spotted the caretaker, raising one hand in a bit of a wave. She didn't exactly shy away from him when he approached her with open arms, but she might have given him a nervous laugh, and looked a little taken aback. He was certainly cut from a different cloth than his quasi-brother.
"I'm Natalie," she said, extending her right hand. She wasn't entirely averse to physical contact, so she would at least offer him a handshake. "And you're Jeff, right? Sorry I stood you up last week, I got caught up with packing, and family stuff. I hope things didn't go too terribly with Santa and the teenage mutant ninja elves?"
