It was Jimmy's voice--sort of--but the tone and timbre were enough to let her know that Sammy was the brains of the operation tonight, even before he started dropping names, or drawing weapons.
She didn't think that he could kill her with a normal gun, or at least Ruby didn't think that he could kill her with it, but even Ruby wasn't keen on taking chances--just in case she was wrong. In case she was human. She was fairly itching for Rebecca to lose her cool and give her the chance to take over, but so far, Becky was holding her own.
"I've been with Tanya all day, Sam," she said, trying to talk him down--despite knowing that the hunter would probably rather shoot first and screw asking questions. "I don't know where they are." Assuming they in question were Annie and Teddy--because she couldn't think of any other reason for Sam to have taken over.
