She laughed again, and it was genuine this time. It felt good to be finally breaking out of her shell.
"Don't worry," she said, "I'm doing my best not to go there again. Besides, I have a feeling there's at leas one other person who would hunt me down and drag me out of the house if I tried." She smiled.
"I've been practicing my magic a lot lately, but guess there's only one way to find out how much more I can do," she added. "I'm game if you are." After all, hadn't someone encouraged her to embrace her gifts? And what better way to do so than with other wizards to keep her in check and balance?
