"Nice to meet you in person," she said. She too kept her left hand close, but relaxed at her side. The scar of Keleios' demon-mark was one thing, but the poison was another, and she still felt like a liability at times--but she tried not to think about it.
"Please do," she said, laughing a little as she moved to reclaim her own seat. Nerves. She just hoped she wouldn't start babbling incessantly like she had when she'd met Parker. Then again, maybe that was better than the alternative, awkward silence.
