Who: Al and Betty Peabody What: Arguing and sibling-ing When: Wednesday evening - Nov 18 Where: New Orleans - Agency office and wherever Al decides to have the chat Warnings: Angst, lots and lots of angst.
Al hadn't explained much to Farley. Actually she hadn't said anything to him of the "fight." She thought he had enough to worry about, and if he knew, he probably wouldn't side with Al, even if that was who he should side with, right? She hoped that the car she borrowed wouldn't get her or anyone else into trouble, but she had to get to the Agency office before her sister got bored or decided to start wandering. It really wasn't a good time for the youngest Peabody to start exploring.
She sped through the outskirts of New Orleans and was soon downtown, not at all happy with having to drive at all. Al found a spot that looked to be okay - no hydrants or signs warning against parking - and parked. She got out, yanking on a light coat, and headed into the office. No, she wasn't happy, and Betty might not think she was ever happy. Then again, Betty never saw Al when Al was on her own. Betty was burdened and hindered by the whole family relation bit.
