Laura laughed at Clyde's outburst, and the looks it earned him. "Hell yes we are!" She was nearly as loud and it was just lucky that she hadn't thrown in a cliche whooo! at the end. When she went out with friends she liked to have a good time, and she wasn't going to be shy about it. She wasn't shy about much of anything. That was something that appealed to her about Clyde, he seemed to feel the same way she did about having a good time. Nothing wrong with that.
The bar they'd picked was pretty lively, but it wasn't packed. At least not yet. No one else had taken the lead, so she steered them towards the bar and slid into the nearest empty booth. There was enough privacy that they could talk, but they were still in the center of the action.
