A kiss was pretty low on his list of things to expect from an almost complete stranger, but he was already beginning to expect the unexpected from Miranda, so he just laughed and touched her shoulder briefly when she leaned toward him. "Oh, I don't know," he said, touching his mustache thoughtfully. "Curry, I guess? I had some the other day and liked it. Or maybe that was the other week. Hm." He thought for a moment, then shrugged. "Well, whenever I had it, it was good."
He stood up from her desk and slipped the box into one of his pockets as he waited for her to pack up. "It doesn't matter to me, though. If there's some place in particular you want to go, that's fine with me. I'm not picky."
