Matilda wasn't exactly sure what to say to that. She felt sorry for Becca - it wasn't fair at all that she had been stuck with such a difficult reincarnate and that Matilda had gotten off easy with Luna - but Becca wasn't looking for pity, and besides that, she didn't need any. She just needed support, and really, that was all Matilda could offer.
"Well," she began, "I'm not saying you're going to have to get along perfectly with her, but I think both of you are going to have to make some compromises if this is going to work. Though I imagine that most of the compromises will come from her end, if that helps."
