Matilda had thought that she would have no problem thinking of Becca as nothing more than a potential friend and colleague, but meeting her in person was making that incredibly difficult. Becca was very attractive, and though Matilda knew she was pretty, she had never thought of herself as anything spectacular - a trivial observation, yes, but it was bothering her much more than it had any right to, and the worst part was that she was letting it bother her, when there was no earthly reason why it should have in the first place.
