"Oh, fantastic!" Matilda exclaimed. "I have to tell you, that makes my job so much easier if you've already talked to Michael. Just talk to him again as soon as possible, or I can for you if you like, either way is fine."
She was smiling widely, very happy with the way things were turning out. "And, of course, if you ever need anything, please don't hesitate to email or call me." She dug a pen out of her purse and quickly jotted down her phone number on a spare napkin, then handed it to Becca. "There's my mobile number - hardly anyone has it, so if you call, I'll know it's important. But, then again, you don't have to restrict yourself to just emergencies. Feel free to call if you'd just like to talk." She hoped her offer of friendship didn't sound too business-like, but sometimes it was hard for Matilda to get out of that mode even in the most informal of circumstances. Though, of course, there was one glaring exception to that rule, but she couldn't think about that right now.
