"Thank you," Rebecca said, pulling out a chair and draping her jacket over the back as she obligingly sat down. She wasn't quite sure of the flickering expressions that crossed Matilda's face as the woman spoke, but she supposed a little uncertainty was to be expected on both fronts.
"It's good to meet you in person," she said, extending a hand, "Clyde's had only good things to say about you." Truth be told, she might have been a little jealous, if Clyde hadn't insisted they were just friends. Thankfully none of it was reflected in her tone of voice.
