Who: Matilda Martin (Luna Lovegood) and Clyde Bailey (Scotty) What: Regarding the state of Clyde's transporter. Possibly a science vs. magic conversation. When: Friday, August 7th - 7 PM Where: Shreveport, LA Warnings: Maybe some language.
Matilda did not like the MTN, not one bit. She much preferred traveling normally, by cars or planes or buses - and even though she'd taught herself (with Luna's help, of course) to Apparate, she never did it outside of her own home. Just going from her bedroom to her kitchen made her nauseous, and disappearing on one continent and reappearing on another? Definitely not her idea of fun. She'd made bigger sacrifices than this for her work, though, and so as soon as her last patient left her office, groaning in pain from a successful but difficult root canal, she went to the Agency building in London, said hello to a few friends in the building, and headed to Louisiana to meet Mr. Bailey, Camelot's supposed mechanical genius.
She'd heard of Clyde before, briefly - heard that he'd volunteered for Camelot and that he would be a huge asset to their cause, but that was all. She didn't really know anything about him, now that she thought of it, and so she looked forward to getting to know him. And truthfully, she hoped the rumors were true. They needed all the help they could get.
So, quickly and very business-like, she smoothed her blouse and skirt and walked briskly to the lobby. Hopefully, Clyde would be there waiting for her.
