Who: Fred (Elsa) & Travis (Lobo) What: Fixing a car? When: Monday afternoon, heading quickly to evening Where: Elsa's house Warnings: None.
Sure, she could have used public transportation, but Fred didn't want Elsa to think she had broken the car. It was better to find out what was wrong with it and try to take care of it than just let it sit there. No, she'd get it fixed or try to anyway.
Fred paced at her front door, waiting for Travis to show up. So far her encounters with other reincarnates had been a mix bag. The meeting with Kent had gone well, which was strange seeing as she was going to him as a doctor. Her meeting with Parker and Dom had gone awful, but that really wasn't much of a shock. Now she was meeting someone else, someone who would be helping her. She felt so helpless, disconnected, and it really was beginning to get on her nerves. Still, she was proud of herself, somewhat. She wasn't hiding away, not too much; she hadn't gotten out of the house since she'd gotten back to LA, and now that she wanted to go, she couldn't.
Now and then, Fred would peek out of the window to see if Travis had arrived. She had to trust that he was a good person, and she wasn't going to let him just come in. No, that was a bad idea, especially with what she knew was around the house. Well, it wasn't out for people to see, but really, just a peek in certain closets and cabinets and one would know some very personal things about Fred, or Elsa anyway.
