"You and me both," Natalie laughed, giving Parker a wry smile as she glanced over at him. "I--well, Keleios put them in an enchanted pouch that was locked with a rather dangerous spell to prevent any hand but hers from reaching inside," she explained. "I have the bag, but...I've been too afraid to open it, just in case the spell doesn't recognize my hand as Keleios."
She shrugged, her bandaged hand twirling imaginary glyphs in the air. "I'm probably being overly cautious, considering I have the same mark on my hand, but I'd rather be safe than sorry. I was only a little girl when I began acquiring her knowledge, after all."
