Was she nervous? Yes. Why? The last person she met and knew, somewhat, had not taken too kindly to what she said. Then again, what she said wasn't at all kind. She had to hope that she wouldn't have some strange issues. At least an Agency type had contacted her and given her some suggestions; poor man was doing his best, but Al wasn't sure how much he had helped. There had to be a way to bring Padme to the surface.
These were the issues as she found the MTN..jump point? She needed more information. She needed jargon, lingo, something. A dictionary was what these people needed, and if they had one, they should release it to the public for people like her who needed to be able to name things. She was rather happy when she finally found herself in New Orleans with her ass in the right place and her backpack on her shoulder, not in it. Magic.
Being the person she was, she was at LPK early. It'd give her enough time for her stomach to settle and maybe find its home where it should be - in her body. She decided to sit outside and enjoy the air for a little bit before heading in - it was different in New Orleans. Sure, NYC and Brooklyn had air, sometimes busy air, thrumming with the sounds and life that occurred in big cities and their burroughs. New Orleans air thrummed, yes, but it was a thicker, richer thrum. Then again, it could have been the humidity.
She pulled out her current choice in reading The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde; it was a slim volume, but it was packed with interesting questions, some of which she'd written in the margins herself. Yes, she was something of a nerd.
