Dominic was more than a little confused, after Parker's post on the boards. He knew there were some things that went unsaid between the two of them- he could sense them, lingering at the edge of their conversations, at his less-lucid. But even when he was thinking straight, he couldn't quite put a name to the feeling. Academically, he knew it was because of his condition(s); there were certain emotions he just didn't understand, especially when it came to... closer relationships. But they never interfered with his work, his life, Parker. Until now.
So, curious about just what the other man found so distressing, Dominic made his way back from the park he'd been walking in, setting a pot of water on the stove for tea, while he waited for Parker to come back. He wasn't worried, nervous- it didn't occur to him, to think of anything untoward. Parker would come back, and explain, and things would be fine. How it always worked.
The butterflies rustled past the doorway, from their perch in the parlor to the front door, just as the teapot whistled. Good timing, as ever. Dom smiled a little to himself, as he prepared the cups.
"I made tea," He spoke over his shoulder, even if Parker wasn't close enough to hear yet. "So we could talk."
