Who: Chris/Dean and Tracy/Sam What: A reunion When: After Tracy's first journal entry. (So backdated almost too weeks) Where: San Antonio, Texas
Chris had no idea how late he was when he finally got out of the door. He'd lost all sense of time and wasn't sure how long he'd wasted with his stalker/guardian angel/whatever the guy was. But he knew he was late, he knew he had to hurry and he could only hope that Sam was still waiting. At least traveling using the Agency's Magical Transportation Network was fast. Freaky, but fast. (And a little better option than taking a plane.)
As he hurried towards the Agency building the cool air helped his body calm down at least, but it didn't do much to soothe the chaos in his mind. He didn't know what to feel about the sudden influx of new memories and emotions that were unwanted for the both of them. The whole end of the world business, even if it wasn't happening here it was happening - or had happened - somewhere, and he was dying to know how it turned out.
The whole reincarnate business was such a burden, and if he stopped thinking about it it was so easy to lose himself. Here he was now, in a hurry to meet some girl he knew nothing about, except that she was actually his brother whom he cared about more than anything in the world. For a boy who'd never had a close relationship with his family it was a weird feeling.
He decided to just hurry and jogged the rest of the way to the Agency building. Once there he went through the motions as quickly as possible, using the transporter before he could think twice about it. The teleportation made him slightly nauseous, but nothing he couldn't handle. And it was only on the other side that he realized to pull up the collar of his shirt in an attempt to conceal the fresh love bite, and run his finger through his hair, hoping that it didn't look too tousled.
And then he looked around for Sam, realizing he had no idea what he - she - would look like. But maybe there'd be someone who looked edgy for having been made to wait too long...
