Who: Luke Lawson and Aiden Wood What: In need of a chat Where: Luke's place When: Monday June 17th, evening. Rating/Status: TBD
For some reason Aiden going into the muggle world didn't really phase him all that much. Maybe it was because Luke had grown up in it, and in many ways still lived in it. He had a mobile, granted he only had threeish numbers programed into it were his mother's, Aiden's, and the pizza place down the street from him and that was the only time he ever used it and half the time he forgot to turn the ringer back on, but hey, still counts! Or something like that. Either way, it just made it all the easier to keep in touch with his best mate when he'd decided to enlist. Which was something that Luke was very grateful for. He didn't have very many people that he considered to be close to him, maybe a handful at the most, so the ones he did have, he really liked to make sure were happy and did everything he could in order to make sure that the friendship lasted. It got a little harder at times with Aiden, but somehow the two guys had always just made it work, and Luke was always grateful for that.
As Luke sat down on the couch he passed Aiden a beer and kicked up his feet on the coffee table in front of him. If anyone from the office saw him now, they'd think that Luke was living a double life or something just by how relaxed he was right now. And despite the serious-ish nature of the reason why Luke had invited him over. Luke was worried about the Wood family, what with Bradley just showing up out of nowhere after six years gone. Aiden was another brother to him, so it was hard for him to just sit back and idly watch things go along. He'd asked his boss for permission to have Bradley watched to which...it didn't exactly fly all that well, no matter how he spun it. The problem wasn't McLaggen, it was McLaggen's boss who happened to be in the middle of a dick measuring contest with the Auror's office...so Luke was more or less on his own. Which he was fine with. Just meant he got to spend more time around the Wood family is all.
"How yah holdin' up?" he asked slouching a bit and looking over at his mate, trying to keep from too much worry coming across over his face.
