"Pleased t'meetcha both," Colby said with a grin. His accent was something muted and indistinguishable, but probably something Northern once upon a time. If his eyes were more shadowed than in the past, well, he was dealing with it. He was determined to, though he occasionally drank too much these days. It was new days yet, though. They were all learning to cope. For now, though, he was his normal, high energy, somewhat bouncy self. ADD, Connor always said, and perhaps he had a point sometimes. He looked them over somewhat discreetly, rocking back on his heels. Attractive, both; trust Connor to find two lovely ladies after living here so little time.
"And hello there, young miss," he said, crouching down and holding his hand out to take her wee one. "Right pleased to meetcha too. Right little princess, aren't ya?" His voice was gentle, his grin bright.
"I have to say, Connor has lucked out. Three pretty girls, and you're over here to play with us tonight!" he said, grinning at them all as he stood back up again. "Connor's already down in the music room, I thought I'd spare his knee while fetching more drinks. John's lurking in some corner somewhere, too, looking like he can sand some wood with his scruff." He rollled his eyes as he ushered them further in, unable to resist making fun of his fellow band-mate.
