It continued to baffle her just how comfortable she was with him. A year ago, she wouldn't even have been able to handle being alone here with him, but now, as he reached out to her, she found herself stepping into the hug, turning her head to rest it against his shoulder, faced turned into his neck. "Just don't hold it against me when I have these moments, or take it personally," she answered just as quietly. There was something oddly calming in his embrace, though, and she found her eyes slipping closed in contentment.
