Connor grinned at her and slipped inside. He'd only shoved his one good foot into a sandal, his preferred footware in any case, but extra convenient at the moment. He was dressed casually too, in a pair of old blue jeans that had gotten faded the good ol' fashioned way and a slightly faded T-shirt of a band they'd once opened for years ago. He hadn't really given his clothes a thought, in typical him-fashion, not even giving a thought to the hole in one knee or the slightly stretched quality of the shirt.
He didn't think anything of her outfit except that she still managed to look fresh and pretty, and her calves were kind of nice, though he didn't give her a once over, too much of a gentleman for that.
"Well, hello neighbor, glad to be here," he replied lightly, following her further inside once she'd closed the door. "How was your day?" he asked curiously.
