Connor smiled, inexplicably pleased by this turn of events. He levered himself upright, grimaced faintly and hobbled to the kitchen to pop a few run-of-the-mill ibuprofen so he wouldn't feel loopy or tired while he was over there with her. Last thing she wanted was a guy who seemed out of it, he was sure.
He headed on over to her place, glad it was just a quick walk across the street though he wouldn't even have minded a drive. Well, except that he still would have had to call Dana, he thought dryly as he glanced down at the cast he really wanted gone at this point. Dana would tease him dreadfully about this, he just knew it. She'd been teasing him that he liked Emily since he told her about the coffee thing. Though granted, she'd teased him about Marla too. It was just that he might have blushed at the first teasing, just a little, before he could control himself.
He knocked on her door lightly, not wanting to risk waking Sarah up since Emily had said she was sleeping.
