Emily let out a soft, amused laugh at the question. "All of the above! Is it chocolate? Then yes, please," she answered, giggling a bit at the silliness of it. Though she flushed lightly and glanced down at her coffee when she realized just how much smiling and laughing she was doing with him. How was she so comfortable with him when she'd only met him days ago?
"Yes, it really is. She's really great, and ahh, here she comes now," she noted as Marla finished the set she was on and stepped away from the little stage area, making her way to their small table. Emily stood up to greet her with a friendly hug, comfortable with the contact because they'd been friends for so long. "Marla, this is Connor," she introduced them with a smile.
"Well, hello there, Connor," Marla said, holding out a hand to him, her eyes sparkling with recognition. "Mighty good ta meet ya!" she said honestly. She had no doubt that Emily was clueless as to who this man was in the country world, and if Connor wanted to keep it to himself tonight, then far be it for her to screw it up for him. For tonight, anyway. If Emily didn't know next time she talked to her, she had every intention of educating her friend. She sat down at the table, setting a bottle of water down in front of her.
