Connor nodded, not terribly upset over being turned down particularly because he hadn't met the little girl just yet. He had never been terribly fond of the phrase 'don't take it personally,' though he could tell she genuinely meant it. "No, I understand. Just figured I'd let you know in case something ever comes up," he said easily, smiling at her reassuringly. "Better safe than sorry these days, though I hope you'll find I'm not the bad sort at all." And he wasn't. He'd had incidents of things in the past, though many of them came with a degree of fame, and he'd never hurt anyone who hadn't hurt him first, and even then he typically showed more restraint than others might.
"Some necessary. Some merely creature comforts," he admitted almost ruefully. "I want new carpet in part of the place, though. The color in a few of the rooms is just not working for me in a long term kind of way." His nose wrinkled and he flicked his fingers before grinning. "At least it's not shag, so I'll live if I don't do it." Connor was admittedly fond of nice surroundings. Not perfection, for he was as cluttered as anyone at times, but well put together was always pleasant on the eyes.
"A couple more things for the music room, too. Mostly with that, though, it's getting stuff I already have brought here. A couple of my friends are going to come by at some point, and maybe I can get them to lug it over."
