"Any variety of things, really. Good places to shop, restaurants, places to start getting to know people around here," he said, lifting one shoulder in a careful looking shrug. "I'm into music," though he'd have to be very careful depending on the venue, "and all sorts of things."
He grinned a little lopsidedly at her. "Glad I'm not the only one, then. Aunt Brill has always had my back, so I guess it shouldn't surprise me that she's still doing it even now." It was nice, to know that she was behind him all the way, even if it could be annoying, being hovered over all the time right now. "Thanks, and likewise. I know I'm a bit down and out now, but I can be handy enough most of the time, and it'll be boring here with no one to visit with." And she was friendly and seemed like an interesting person, and he wanted to make friends with the neighbors.
