Emily's nose wrinkled a little as her face took on a thoughtful expression. "Hmm, well I guess that depends on what ya like doin'. There's plenty to do 'round here, though," she told him, waiting for a little direction on what kinds of things he was interested in.
"Babysitter? Oh, you poor dear," she joked lightly. At his next words, Emily found herself laughing lightly even as he chuckled. "That's family for ya. My mama's still all 'bout that." For very specific reasons that she was not about to get into, of course, but nevertheless.
