Once they were back at Nott Manor, Pansy slid out of her cloak, hanging it up on a hook. She followed Theo into the living room. It had been set completely to rights from their game last night. There was no evidence of the secrets revealed or the things done. She would never forget that night, though, because the things that had happened led to the best moment of her life, so far: the moment she and Theo had agreed to get married.
She looked around in a way she hadn't before, from the perspective of a woman who would be soon sharing this man's home, his life, his hopes and dreams and responsibilities. Was she ready for that, for everything this commitment entailed? Yes, she was. She knew, without a doubt, that she was ready to fully commit to being Theo's wife.
Which brought her to something she'd been wondering since early on in their visit with Draco and Millie. "So," she said as they settled on a couch together. "A binding ceremony?" Her voice was light, not upset or against the concept, but wanting to know his thoughts on it.
