"I wanted it to be today," he admitted. It wasn't because he had any fear of changing his mind--no, rather he simply wanted her to be his. He wanted to be married to her.
Theo smiled at both of them, relieved to see a couple of friendly faces. "We simply, ah, have a favor to ask of the both of you." Theo took Pansy's hand, her left, an odd little smile playing about his lips as he lifted it into general view. Upon the ring finger rested her engagement ring, which he'd given her that morning. It had been his grandmother Nott's, and her mother's and her mother's before that. It was a lovely ring, and she'd liked it as much as he'd hoped she would.
"We were hoping you both would be a witness at our wedding." He looked at Millie almost shyly, reminding her of the boy she had grown up with quite poignantly. She was surprised, but she was pleased for the both of them even if she wondered how hard this was going to hit Blaise.
