Draco wasn't oblivious to Blaise's amusement. He knew he was just a shadow of his former self, but he couldn't help that. His entire life had changed, so much that he didn't think it worth living any more. Now, he was learning to live again, and insecurities with gorgeous woman was just part of the process.
"It is? Yes, it is," Draco nodded, staring over Blaise's shoulder, thinking about it. "She'll like it, of course she will."
Draco started tapping his foot, the only sign of his nerves. "Music, orchestral," he mused. "We'll dance. It's bloody ridiculous how much I want her."
He bounced up from the chair, started pacing again. "What should we eat, though?" He couldn't remember ever having worried so much about impressing a girl. He was surprised how good it made him feel.
