"I'll gag myself if you'll do unspeakable things to me," Blaise replied with a leer, but underneath all his play was a relief to see Draco suddenly finding something to care about outside his normal sphere. He'd had hopes for Millicent being a distraction, but this was unprecedented and very, very welcome.
Millie was never really offended by Blaise, though. Somehow, though he couched things in lewd terms, she found him to be amusing, and he'd never harmed her in what he said and it was mostly just talk. Underneath it all, a gentleman still mostly resided.
"Ha, yes," she agreed. "Poor Blaise, caught without a useful tool."
"Mm, sounds good to me. Just lemme know," she said. She would be disappointed if he reneged later, but not surprised; if she actually knew some of what he planned, she would be shocked. No one treated her like the candles-and-flowers kind of girl, even though deep down she occasionally wished someone would. She was a woman, even if she didn't always act like it.
