Blaise knew Draco wanted. He could see it, burning in his friend's eyes. And he couldn't blame him at all, because suddenly he really wanted as well. But he liked seeing that spark in Draco again--it was life and it had been a long time since he'd seen that there.
Millicent never backed down if she could help it, and that habit kept her in good stead now. She let him come and didn't back down, but he didn't back down either.
His lips were surprisingly gentle, and for just a second her eyes widened in surprise that he actually went through with it, kissed her, right here right now. She leaned into it, though, and her eyes slid shut. One hand rested on his bicep, but when he pulled her closer--and she went willingly--her arms ended up winding around his neck.
It was completed unexpected. She'd come here to reconnect, that was true, but never had she ever expected something like this. But it was good.
Her kiss was firm and not quite uncertain. She didn't pull back, leaning into him instead, enjoying the light press of her body against his, and the strong arms he'd mentioned earlier holding her close.
Blaise stayed very, very still, lest they remember suddenly that he was there. He wasn't quite sure which was hotter, Draco or Millicent, but it didn't really matter--the embrace was quite attractive. But it wasn't all sexual for him, because he knew Draco needed good things in his life and it was incredible to see him get a taste of one right now.
