They skated around, and she only showed off a little bit, opting out of doing any jumps since it had been so long since she'd been on the ice. She was a little out of practice, but the motions came back to her like second nature.
After a while, they went off the ice to get something to drink. Sitting next to Nathan on a bench, Mandy finally decided to broach the topic that had been simmering in the back of her mind all week, that she could admit to herself was the source of her restless energy today.
"I think I made my decision," she said, glancing over at him. Before he could ask the question that was clear in his eyes, she continued, "About going to see Terry. I don't know if I will be able to forgive him, but I do know that I owe it to myself to resolve this one way or another, face-to-face."
