Millicent had not been very attractive when she'd been in school. She'd thought herself ugly, and still did, truth be told, but shedding all that weight had exposed her fine cheekbones and given her strong jaw the balance it needed. She was actually quite attractive now, though she didn't realize it.
"I'm doing well, doing well," Millie said, smiling at Pansy and hugging her back. Oh, it was surprisingly nice to see her again after so long. SHe hadn't realized how much she missed her familiar classmates until this moment. "I only got back yesterday evening.
"How about you? How have you been? What have you been up to?" she asked.
She had, of course, noticed the toddler at Pansy's feet, but he looked far to old to be Pansy's child. They'd still shared a room that last awful year; Millie knew she would have noticed a pregnancy far enough along to produce a child of this boy's age, unless she was grossly misjudging his age. Though she still hadn't gotten a good look at him, as he was playing with his head down and not paying them much mind at present.
