It was so difficult to watch the pain, the struggle playing out on Kay's face. Though she was still hurt and confused by the whole Terrence situation, she couldn't help but want to comfort and sooth her lover.
She wanted so badly to ask why she couldn't, but she didn't want to push Kay away any more than she already had. "No, I didn't really. We never talked about being exclusive, it was my choice to only be with you, and I have no right to expect you to."
Her whispered plea shot straight to her gut, and she lifted her hands to frame Kay's face. "Never," she breathed. "I could never hate you. Kay." She closed her eyes briefly, steeling herself for what she was about to say. Opening her eyes, she looked directly into Kay's. "I'm falling in love with you."
