Ferrol had many defense mechanisms firmly in place, and it took a determined person with an idea of what was going on before they managed to get him to drop them all completely. Humor was his first, and often at home it was his nephew and sometimes his sister, both of whom he doted upon when he could. He acted outrageous and often spoke without censoring himself.
He wasn't surprised when everyone went their separate ways; he'd expected it. He figured he'd go entertain himself elsewhere, perhaps the library or his old quarters.
When Natalie grabbed his arm, he had no real qualms about following her insistence, though he still did not know if she would mention the brief incident earlier. His sleeves had seemingly coincidentally stayed down the rest of the day.
