Because she was watching for his reaction, she noticed the discomfort. She reached up and brushed her thumb over his fuller lower lip, her fingers across his cheek. Her nails trailed lightly over his jaw and down his neck.
"No," she murmured with a grin. "Not obvious. I've just been looking. And, I like to think I know my husband." And she figured there were many men out there who were uncomfortable with kids until they had their own, and even after many of them never quite got the hang of the kids thing. She'd been particularly lucky with her father. Walter was a loving, attentive father.
Mandy let out a breathy chuckle at his answer. "Trust me, love, I'm in no hurry to have kids. Maybe in a few years we'll talk about it again and see if we're ready?" She smirked and leaned up to nip at his jaw and kiss her way to his lips. "And in the meantime, we can practice. But right now, we should probably get cleaned up for dinner."
