"I don't know what I'd do without you," she replied to him, meeting his eyes with her large brown ones. "I've always loved you." And if they both hadn't been so dysfunctional through the years, they wouldn't be in this mess right now--though she couldn't bring herself to regret Ethan.
"Don't do everything just for me," she said softly, hating how she'd made him feel. "But you have all the time you need. You know... you know I'd never force anything, love." She fluttered gentle kisses over his closed eyes.
She wanted to point out logically--logic was something she was good at--that Ethan and his mouth had made a good argument for a try at it earlier, but she had a feeling that might be a sore point. "Trying is all I ask." Her words were soft as she leaned as into him as she could.
She knew it was screwed up. Perhaps it was how she'd been raised, she didn't know--but she knew she had no trouble distinguishing her feelings and she absolutely had no issues with the different forms of sexuality. How could she, with freespirited Ferrol as her brother?
