The hot water felt good against her cooling skin, and she was letting the warm spray pound against her face, her eyes closed against the water when she felt him embrace her from behind. She sighed and leaned slightly back against him.
She felt guilty for not talking to Nathan about what was bothering her. It wasn't like her to keep these things from him. One of the things she loved most about their relationship was the open honesty that they shared.
Her hands pressed over his where he held her. "I'm sorry about what just happened," she said, blushing lightly. "I... It's just that that's never happened before and, well, it was rather odd and confusing." She grinned wryly at him over her shoulder. "We've been together two and a half years, and I've never not gotten off."
