Her logic was logical while also not making any sense at all. But then, emotion was involved and emotion was so very rarely logical. He sighed and nuzzled her neck soothingly.
"All right, luv. I just hate to see you beating yourself up," he said softly, pressing a series of kisses to her collar bone. "And I'm glad you told me. Truly."
He looked up and smoothed away the tears from her cheeks with gentle swipes of his thumbs. "Don't cry, luv," he begged softly. "I don't want you to be sad any longer." Only with her was he capable of this sort of tenderness--she who saw him with the most positive of lights.
