"Yeah, she definitely did that," Ari sighed, knocking back the shot and then taking a swig of his beer. Most people said don't mix alcohol, but it didn't phase him or Scarlett any.
"But even as we were talking, there was this voice in the back of my head that said that she was right to break it off with me before she got hurt. I didn't want to believe it, but maybe she's right. Maybe I'm not cut out for the monogamy thing. I still love her, but she was right. I don't think I'm in love with her."
He ordered another shot, whiskey for himself and vodka for Scarlett (because if she had to suffer his moping, she might as well enjoy herself). "What was weird was that she kept talking about herself as if she were two different people. Very schizophrenic."
